I have two questions on this: 1. In the audio settings under the 'Prefrences' window, there are no options for which driver to choose, and I am getting no sound...I did see that in that window there is a note saying the audio is done through 'Rewire'...I'm not too familiar with the software, and I'd love to get a little help / feedback from anyone who knows.. 2. In Reason, the edit window (or the arrange, I'm not sure) I am not able to see the actual notes (i.e. piano notes, or velocity, etc..) Where are the icons for these? Is it because it's a limited version of Reason? How can I edit the notes I play on my MIDI controller? Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Mony

Hi Mony - As far as using Reason with Re-wire, you have to open pro-tools and bring Reason in via a stereo Aux track. Do a search on using reason with pro-tools in this forum - the procedure has been detailed many times. If you have any problems, give us a shout back. You won't be able to edit using musical notation (notes and staff)either in Reason or in Pro-Tools. In Reason, to see Midi notes that have been recorded, you need to click on a bar icon in the sequencer section and the display will change from a region display to a piano roll grid. If you're using Reason through Pro-Tools, you should control Reason via a midi track in Pro-Tools and edit in pro-tools.

Hi! Thanks, it's working, and I can record sounds out of Reason. The problem I'm having is in the editing. I don't see the MIDI bars in protools. I can save what I did in Reason to a MIDI file, and then import to Protools, although I don't know how to adjust the channel / bus to where I can listen to the MIDI through the stereo aux track I set up. Is there an easier way...feels like I'm not doing this right... Thanks, Mony
