Any thoughts on...

...why my pentium m 1.6 laptop (@ 24 bits) would use less cpu than my pentium 4 2.6 desktop (@ 16 bits)? I thought the desktop would be an improvement over the laptop. There is about a 4-10% difference. Running "tuned" xp on both. Thanks. peace

Thanks JG!!! That does explain it and quite well. It IS an M Centrino. I guess I borrowed the desktop for no real good reason. Back to the lappy! peace

Yup. For a while there, the Centrino's were the badass chip to have. :) D
