1. Yes. 2. Both could be useful for different profiles of people. I suggest doing both. 3. Half-half. I actually really got used to ReaMenus in v3. Submenus aren't a problem for me, but others may disagree. Do both? :D 4. Well they do use a line of space each, so they might not be desireable for netbooks. But could be useful for newbies. I say leave them, the splicer can handle it! 5. 1920x1080 px. 22". I'll leave 6. and 7. unanswered for now! :)
Im on 1920x1200 and dont need labels. I would like a simple top level with the rest one level down. Thing i use a lot i will promote or make a toolbar button.
Just a very few items I use very regularly that dont show up in the standard reamenus - I`ll check it out properly when I get back to the UK next week and give you feedback. But in any case the existing setup in 3.76 is very useful for clearing out the clutter in the meantime! MOnitors vary from tiny 10.4 inch lappy to the studio ones at 1900 plus, so not sure how I should report mine but no overflows at present even on the little lappy Thankyew!
1680 x 1050 Before r4 went into alpha I was all about ReaMenus I'd love to see a split set composing/midi v.s. mixing/editing I prefer sub menus and a more functions listed.

Here's a demo of the Memory Menu: The Track States submenu looks like this: Load selected tracks' folder states Save selected tracks' folder states ---- Load selected tracks' compact states Save selected tracks' compact states ---- Load selected tracks' (and inputs') mute states Save selected tracks' (and inputs') mute states ---- Load master track's FX state Save master track's FX state
