I have been playing with muxing DTS-streams with DivX movies. DVD2AVI 1.77 (latest version) supports extracting DTS-streams from vob-files. However, Gordian-knot 0.27 won't load .d2v files made by DVD2AVI 1.77, only from version 1.76. Now it's no real problem to first make a .d2v file with DVD2AVI version 1.76 and then use 1.77 to extract the DTS-stream, but it's sure is a major inconvenience. I was wondering if it is possible to include DVD2AVI version 1.77 (and appropriate support for it) in the next release of Gordian Knot. As I am writing this I am downloading 2 different DTS filters, one is in a codec-pack that can be downloaded from divx-digest, the other from a chinese site. If anyone knows of a good DTS filter, please let me know. Belgarath

Wilbert, Bedankt voor het antwoord. However, your method describes a way for me stream DTS sound via the SPDIF connection on my Audigy to my surround receiver for decoding. I was looking for a way to get the decoding done by software and have the DTS-filter/codec output the sound as 6 seperate channels on my Audigy. This, namely, is exactly what WinDVD is doing. When playing a DTS-Divx movie in WinDVD Platinum, I get 6 channel sound on the 3 connections on my Audigy. From there it goes to the 6 channel input on my receiver. I prefer this method, because now all types of sound in DivX movies (stereo MP3, AC3, DTS) is always PCM-output via the Audigy to my surround receiver. I thought if WinDVD can do it, it can't be impossible, but have been unable to find any codec/filter that can do it similar to AC3-filter. Belgarath
