Recombining 2-Disk Backups Into 1 Disk

Does anybody have any experience recombining 2-disk backups (made with DVDXCopy for instance) into a single disk?:confused:

I have used DVD2One for this with excellent results using the seamless join feature. If the combined discs require too much compression for a good looking result with DVD2One's engine, just reset the disc size to 9000 and then recode the finished oversized movie with the transcoder/recoder of your choice.
