Your best option would be to get a seperate multi-port midi interface, like the M-Audio Midisport 4x4 or something.

If possible, I'd prefer to chain them. My understanding is that I shouldn't experience any latency chaining only 2 instruments. Any suggestions for chaining these MIDI instruments? I'm looking for MIDI track settings. Specifically, receive & transmit settings, and channel assignments. Thanks.

if one of those synths has a midi thru then use that synth in idle to pass the midi info from the other synth "I want the drum machine to go thru the synth. So far I have the 002 Rack's MIDI outputs 1 & 2 going to the synth & drum machine's MIDI inputs. I have the synth's MIDI output going to the 002 Rack's MIDI input. And I have the drum machine's MIDI out going to the synths thru connection. " no a midi thru should be connected to the 002 input thru is a midi ouput . so it shoulld be synth A connected to 002 input ( by using the thru connection ) synth B connected to synth A . and synth B connected to 002 that should do it

Thanks, but I need details about the MIDI track set up and assignment. I believe my connections are fine, but you can check them out further up in the thread.
