Problem importing 32bit files

Hi, I'm currently using FL Studio in conjunction with LE. FL Studio exports WAV files in a 32bit float IEEE format, which is recognized fine in a program like Sound Forge, but LE does not even recognize it and will not import/convert it! I initially brought the files in to Sound Forge, and converted them to a regular 32bit file, and LE was able to recognize the files. However, upon importing, I get an error message, that refers to a line of code!! (I'd be happy to post the exact text of the error). Sofar, the only successful method has been to convert the files to 24bit in Sound Forge, and then import them into LE. Anyone else having problems with 32bit files, or can offer some advice/help? thanks; John

mannikin , 32 bit files are NOt supported by PT...and IMO these are only beneficial if you use your hosting application for internal, native processing. You'l have to get in with 24 bits wav, or aiff. good luck,

I have FLStudio as well. If you are concerned about sound quality, you could ReWire FL to PTLE so that your FL project will retain it's native resolution. Just a suggestion.
