using REAPER on dual screen scenario pops up all windows on wrong screen

Hello, I am using Reaper on a dual-screen Windows7 64bit system. In the Windows control panel, I have setup the two monitors so that they extend from the primary monitor to the secondary monitor. I want REAPER to run completely on the secondary monitor. So I start it and move it there. I would expect that all windows it pops up show up there. But that's not the case. Instead, all windows popup on the primary monitor. I have to move each and every window to the secondary monitor manually. For example: Track FX windows and their GUIs, the REAPER splashscreen shown during load of a new project, etc. I think that currently in REAPER the monitor usage is hardcoded to "use primary display always when creating window". Could this please be changed? Windows should pop up on the monitor initially where REAPER runs, please. I'm tired of the manual window moving. (PS: of course, I am not moving the splash screen, that cannot be moved.)

Don't take it personal.

Experiencing the same problem, but have a slightly alternate scenario. In my case, I'd like to keep Track view on primary screen and Mixer + other floating windows on secondary screen. But similar christophe_t's case, I too get all floating windows stacked to the center of the primary screen when starting Reaper. From here, they all need to be moved to secondary screen each time. Might not sound like a biggie, but annoying as hell if you need to restart Reaper many times during a session. Eg. in my use, video clips seem to cause lot of hang ups that require killing Reaper process, and so I end up manually moving these windows quite a lot. When I was still running Reaper V3.x on WinXP, I never had this problem (floating window positions were saved/restored). Hard to say whether this problem has to with either Reaper V4.x, Win7 64bit or the combination of both. If anyone can confirm this behaviour on alternate versions (eg. Reaper V3.x or Win7 32bit), please do so.

Although the devs may be able to sort this out, Windows itself is to blame and this can be kind of solved by making the 2nd monitor the primary monitor using the screen resolution options to make that 2nd monitor the main one. Not great but might help for now. There are a few apps that give the option to pop up all windows by the mouse cursor but not sure of names right now. Just that they do exist :) I too though would love this option in reaper! :)
