Loading REAPER hangs up on 'loading native plugins' (FIXED)

I'm on OSX Mavricks and it will hang up on 'loading native plugins' I want to try moving them to a different directory to see if it will load. Can anyone direct me to which 'native plugins' it tries to load? Thank you

Yes, we have SWS Extensions installed.

Can you run Console.app before launching REAPER, and find the most recent REAPER: lines that appear in "All Messages"? Those lines would be very helpful.

Thanks for that jonwormwood! Looks like SWS is the culprit, indeed... => you can just remove the extension until we fix/sort this out (i.e. remove reaper_sws.dylib from <REAPER_resources_dir>\UserPlugins) @Justin I see where the issue probably lies but I have no idea why this would clash with Mavricks (dunno it + a bit relucant to upgrade...). Do you have any clues/ideas to share for a fix? EDIT: moving this thread to the bug report section...
