If you click on add FX, there's a tree with the various categories, now, you can add your own obviously, but I keep finding myself wishing that the menu structure reflected the directory structure in which the DLL's are placed, if that makes sense? It would do wonders for my OCD if this could happen.

Sorry for my cryptic answer. FX browser -> Options -> Show VST folders. And there was much rejoicing.

What would be great is if, the for each directory, if you clicked on it, then the plug-ins within that directory would show on the right, as with the other categories. In other words, I could do all my organizing within the VST folder, rather than having to make folders and dragging things into them within Reaper. Although, mind you not all the plug-ins are going to be in the VST folder, as with the JS plugs, so I might not be thinking this through correctly.

Right-clicking the plugin folder is your friend... ... and this discussion belongs to the Prerelease forum. :D
