Hi to the forum once again I recently switch to Win 7 64 bit stripped back and tune the OS as much as I can but I am still finding that Focusrite drivers a bit ropey any one else having problems.. I also have a liquid mix but that's on a separate bus .. Wondering weather or not to move over to Apple Mac

In all honesty I've ran my pro 40 as long on Win7 x64 as I have on osx and both have been absolutely rock solid. You have followed Focusrites instructions regardining using the legacy Win7 x64 FireWire driver? As without that it is unstable.

Yes I have got both Fire wire devices on seprate buss and have got the on Legacy drivers to .... I have come across a post on here about Nivdia graphics cards and latency and i think it has something to do with that,,, Having same problem on my new build studio Turns out it's to do with the graphics card Nivida having priority over say your Fire wire devices (latency) There is a program to fix this called PCI Latency ... but it dont work with win7 so im stuffed. My first thoughts were that my Focusrite drivers were a bit flakey but I sure it's my graphics card pull priority over my Audio & DSP devices

Hi, Thank you for posting here. I'm sorry to hear of the problems you are experiencing. I recommend temporarily disabling the graphics card to see if this is related to the issue. If you continue to experience problems then please contact us via the contact form on the Focusrite Answerbase, we would be happy to help. Best regards, Alex Lucas Focusrite/Novation Technical Support

+1 Just looked over this thread, as am deciding on which interface to get for a location recording setup. This has helped me make a decision. Great to see hardware manufacturers noticing Reaper and it's forum - one of the apps greatest assets.
