003R help (-6097 error) when running RTAS plugs

I'm having problems with my 003R I just got. When I simply hit a series of notes on the midi keyboard (using the Arturia CS-80v software) the computer (macbook 2ghz- 2gig RAM) freezes up and gives me an error I have not seen before. Error -6097 says that PTLE has lost connection with the 003, or I need to increase the Buffer size, or that it could be an invalid clock (although clock is set to internal). at this point the light on the 003 is off and PTLE has stopped working. this is just from hitting a few keys on the keyboard. Sorry. I posted this in the wrong section. It's Supposed to be in the Mac OS section. Not sure how to move it. also FYI- I am running OS X 10.4.8 and Aurturia CS-80v 1.6 thanks, JOEL
