Hi all I hope this makes sense I'm new at this. I have my sony dru510a and DVD rom set to master. I want to burn on the fly directly from the dvd rom to sony. When i test the dvd ( to make sure it plays in both drives )it plays using the sony ,but when i put the dvd in the Lite on dvd rom it says in "Disc mode" using power dvd xp and freezes.I checked off the box for that drive ,but it won't play. What could the problem be? I can't start burning my dvds without the lite on dvd rom working ,so any help would be nice. Thanks so much Deborah

as long as dvd-rom and burner are on separate channels with both set to DMA it should be a no brainer. I've burner 4X on-the-fly. here's my setup (as far as which IDE channels, etc.) and here's my guide how to burn on-the-fly
