if your cars running lean, it sounds that you are drawing in too much air somewhere. I would check all vacume lines for leaks, and clean your throttle body out, as that my help with your lump ideling. we really need to know car spec to help you further.

Used the little black boxes drivers side front,plugged connector into a2 and pressed button flashed up 113 ie one flash then gap flash gap 3 flashes,used bay13(yankee site) to get meaning of codes.
