Ok, so, I'm a former Mac person and have been using Reaper for the past couple of years on PC (sry Mac. I can't afford you any more). Haven't posted here, so the first thing I should say is THANK YOU for all those who have worked hard, and continue to work hard, to provide a stable, incredibly useful, and solid DAW. Coming from Digital Performer, there are only 2 things that I really miss. I do think at least one of these is a common desire from most people, at least from trolling threads for the last couple of years: 1)Audio Editor within Reaper - I know there's Reawave out there, but something that allows destructive/constructive/stretching editing of audio files would put Reaper over the top. I miss being able to drag a wav into a project and then quickly stretch/squish it to where I want it (plus other audio editing fun-times, like quickly applying/previewing effects on a sound file). 2)Being able to enter notes AND velocity in the piano roll at the same time (i.e., you click to enter a note like normal, but can make the rectangle taller or shorter to affect velocity) - I've searched high and low for something like the DP Drum editor that will allow this, and I'm continually surprised no one else has combined these two functions. I used to use the HELL out of it to fine tune complex drum patterns, and really do think lots of folks would find it useful too. Thanks again. Reaper is friggin' SWEET!
